If you have an interest in Cyber Security with a strong software development background focused using JavaScript and one of the frameworks...Angular, Backbone, Ember, etc. This position is for you! In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and extend the core capabilities of a Cyber Analytics solution for SAS.  This position reports to the Development Manager and will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to visualize analytic workflows that are tailored to the discovery of cyber threats and anomalous network behavior. You will be responsible for the design, development and support of the JavaScript User Interface for the Cyber solution. Also, you will be able to participate in creating technical standards and improving support of Single Page Application policies and best practices. You be involved in design specifications, artifacts and perform post implementation support and system enhancements.


What about the soft skills? We are looking for someone who is passionate about the design, the user interface, and maintaining a high standard in the quality of the product. You also need to be energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to clearly communicate technical risk, challenges, and recommend solutions to leadership. 



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing web applications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with web technologies to include web services, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and JSON
  • Experience with web development frameworks to include one or more of the following: jQuery, NodeJS, AngularJS, Ember, React or equivalent
  • Must be familiar with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to make UI recommendations based on solid understanding of user interactions
  • Must be a US Citizen 


  • Proficiency in JAVA, Spring, and MVC patterns
  • Experience building components designed for reuse
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with Elasticsearch or Apache SOLR
  • Ability to use Test Driven Development methodologies (Unit test and UMLs)
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap and/or Foundation and Font-awesome.
  • Experience with multi-tier web application development and working knowledge of Web Application Servers.
  • Demonstrated experience with disciplined unit, regression, and integration testing
