JMP is an independent division of SAS with a 25 year history of providing interactive, graphical, statistical discovery software to the engineering and scientific communities. As a Software Developer with JMP, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining C++ code for a large desktop application (Mac and Windows) with a regular release cycle. In particular, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing scripting infrastructure code that enables rich customizations of statistical visualizations.


Essential Requirements:

  • Software engineering expertise (design, refactoring, debugging)
  • C++11 expertise (STL, lambdas)
  • Strong communication skills (wiki editing, presentations)


  • Experience with JMP or similar products
  • Experience with computer graphics (Canvas, OpenGL)
  • Experience with statistical analysis
  • Math expertise (geometry, linear algebra)
  • Online reputation (stackoverflow, github)
