We are looking for a development tester with experience in testing functionality through REST APIs.

SAS Fraud & Financial Crimes Solutions division develops a robust and comprehensive suite of solutions that includes Anti-Money Laundering, Customer Due Diligence, Peer Group Analysis, Currency Transaction Reporting, Real-time Sanctions and Public Security.


Responsibilities include:

  • Manual functional testing of features
  • Developing automated tests using Java or Groovy based tools
  • Building a robust integration test suite
  • Assisting in writing external and internal documentation
  • Performing other duties as assigned

 Essential requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of software development/testing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of development experience (must be using Java or Groovy)
  • Experience with Linux & shell scripting
  • Experience in testing distributed systems
  • Experience in troubleshooting the problem rather just reporting the problem

 Preferred experience:

  • Exposure to other JVM based programming languages like Groovy, Scala or Clojure
  • Experience with a cloud platform
