    As a Test Engineer, you will work to support initiatives in the SAS Fraud & Security Intelligence division. The Test Engineer applies software quality assurance and engineering expertise to assure quality throughout the life cycle of a robust and comprehensive suite of solutions that includes Anti-Money Laundering, Customer Due Diligence, Peer Group Analysis, Currency Transaction Reporting, Real-time Sanctions and Public Security. This includes software testing and optimization of database environments.


    *The ideal candidate for this testing role will have an understanding and experience in data integration through implementation of shared database environments. This will distinguish you as a top match in addition to experience in QA/Testing. 


    • Design, develop and execute test programs that evaluate the quality of customer based deployments
    • Perform verification and QA of various combinations of deployment compatibility matrices
    • Identify system defects and makes recommendations for resolution
    • Work with developers, analysts, and project managers to identify and mitigate risks to quality
    • Design, Develop and Optimize test scripts using standard test automation tools
    • Validate data integration through the development and execution of performance, quality tests and scenarios including data design, load and transform
    • Review relevant documentation

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related quantitative field
    • Experience in testing and/or data integration 
    • Must have programming and/or scripting experience
    • Experience with SQL and working with DBMSs such as PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, MySQL and Hive
    • Linux Proficiency

    • Knowledge of SAS Viya Architecture and SAS version 9 solutions
    • Experience with one or more automation, REST or performance testing tools
    • Programming skills in multiple languages, such as Python and/or Java
    • Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and Testrail
