    Responsibilities include collaborating with customers and team members to implement innovative approaches to real world problems; providing support of the product to existing and new customers;  re-architecting  portions of the solution to meet ever changing customer demands; assisting in writing external and internal documentation; and performing other duties as assigned.


    *Ideal candidate will have experience with systems that deal with high volume/high transaction low latency response times.  



    Essential Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
    • 8 or more years of programming/development experience
    • Computer programming skills, which includes Java, C and SQL
    • Server side computing skills; i.e. threading, parallelization of processes (Must have)


    Additional Skills and Experience

    • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to relate business concepts and user needs to SAS solutions
    • Ability to work independently and with a team


    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Experience with real-time applications
    • Experience with machine learning
    • Experience with NoSQL data stores; i.e. Elastic Search, CouchBase, MongoDB
    • Experience with high performance hash frameworks; i.e. Chronicle Map, Redis
