     JMP is an independent division of SAS with a 25-year history of providing interactive, graphical, statistical discovery software to the engineering and scientific communities. JMP aims to improve ways of visualizing data and building informative graphs more quickly.

     

    We are looking for a passionate Software Developer to join the JMP team! You will be responsible for writing and maintaining C++ code for a large desktop application (Mac and Windows) with a regular release cycle. In particular, you will be collaborating within a small team to the display and scripting infrastructure that enables rich statistical analyses and dynamic visualizations.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Software engineering skills (design, refactoring, debugging)
    • In depth knowledge of C++ (standard libraries, memory management)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Preferred experience with…

    • JMP, SAS, or similar analytical products
    • Statistical analysis
    • Computer graphics (Canvas, OpenGL)
    • Data visualization
    • Math expertise (geometry, linear algebra)
    • Online contributions (stackoverflow, github, blogs, twitter)
