    As a member of the Micro Analytic Service development team, you will develop business critical decisioning software components utilized by multiple SAS solutions. Overall duties include requirements-based design, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. 


    You will develop new features and enhancements to a high performance decisioning engine and related components, which provide for dynamic publishing and execution of analytics and business logic written in a variety of programming languages. You will take direction from a technical lead or project manager as assigned, and will provide input to the project team to define scope and work for assigned tasks.  You may be asked to work with customers, both internal and external, or to perform other duties as assigned.




    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field or equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered.
    • Experience in analysis, design, and implementation of high performance, multi-threaded, event-driven computing systems.
    • Strong C and C++ programming skills, with a minimum of 5 years C programming experience.
    • Experience with performance analysis, bottleneck isolation and elimination.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication, organizational, analytical & problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage time across multiple projects; proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule.


    • Experience with the SAS threaded kernel (TK) architecture.
    • Experience with SAS Event Stream Processing.
    • Working knowledge of one or more of: DS2, SAS Language, CMP, Python, R, JNI, ODBC.
    • Professional assembly language development experience a plus.
