    What’s SAS on-Campus? A part-time opportunity for students to represent SAS’ innovative data analytics products and award-winning work culture on-campus at your university. This opportunity is a remote position, where you will communicate via weekly conference calls.

     

    What’s Expected? The SAS on-Campus Student Leaders will be responsible for completing a weekly mission that should take approximately 5 hours a week. Missions could include collecting information, networking with students/professors, or helping to host an event.

    Responsibilities

    • Flex your leadership skills by promoting, organizing  and facilitating on-campus events geared towards students and professors
    • Collaborate with campus organizations to grow the community of SAS users
    • Assist with the identification of student talent for SAS job openings
    • Establish beneficial connections on campus to help promote the SAS brand
    • Provide insight to help SAS better understand your school’s culture

    Timeline

    • Applications will be open until early August 2018
    • Interviews will begin in early August 2018 (virtual interviewing)
    • Start date of the role is September 7, 2018
    • All expenses paid training weekend September 8-9 in Cary, NC
    • Able to commit 5-7 hours per week for one academic year from August 2018 through April 2019.

     

    Essential Skills

    • Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Florida.
    • Undergraduate or masters student not graduating prior to December 2019. Student must be enrolled in a degree seeking program during the fall semester of 2019.
    • Excellent command of the English Language

    Preferred Skills

    • Excellent communication skills, including written and oral
    • Self-starter and results oriented
    • Excellent time-management, organization, planning, and implementation skills
    • Experience with SAS products or SAS programming
