    As a member of the Risk Engines team within the Risk Research and Quantitative Solutions Division, you will leverage your analytical and computer science background to support the development of a modular credit scoring solution.  Duties include researching, designing, and implementing mid-tier code to allow users to run programs on servers through the manipulation of UI elements; programming and testing of modules; supplying initial sourcing for user documentation; collaboration with other SAS professional staff; and performing other duties as assigned. 




    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or related quantitative field.
    • Strong experience with a structured programming language (e.g. Java, C, C++).
    • Knowledge of software design patterns.
    • Strong Programming/Algorithm skills.
    • Ability to lead design and development of components with minimal supervision
    • Excellent communication skills.


    • Demonstrated industry experience in full-stack development including use of Java, Spring, Spring boot micro-services, REST, and MVC patterns
    • Base SAS Programming and/or awareness of Python or LUA
    • Experience developing in a Microservices architecture
    • Exposure to web technologies such as JavaScript, JSON
    • Scripting languages, HTML5, Open UI, etc.
