  • Overview

    You will help implement a web-based collaboration product for JMP, the premiere product for statistical discovery from SAS.  Use your experience in software engineering, architecture, and programming to help create an innovative, exploratory product for customers to share and interact with JMP reports.


    We are using the most modern Web technologies to create a product with JMP's signature interactivity, reaching new customers on desktop and mobile platforms.  Examples of our visualizations are here:  You will be involved in all phases of design, development, and maintenance, and you will also have the opportunity to evangelize this product to customers. 


    Essential Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or greater in Computer Science or related field
    • Experience with the Javascript and C++ programming languages
    • Familiarity with web server environments like Node.js
    • Work location in Cary, NC

    Additional Requirements

    • Strong interpersonal, documentation and problem solving skills
    • Ability to think analytically and effectively communicate issues and solutions
    • General knowledge of software engineering tools, methodologies, and principles


    • Experience with Client / Server architecture and development
    • Experience with HTML5 and CSS
    • Experience with Windows or Mac client development
    • Experience designing and maintaining REST API’s
    • Experience with authentication mechanisms like LDAP and SAML
    • Experience with database programming and SQL
    • Familiarity with statistics is a plus
