    We are looking for a strong, talented, and experienced Director for our Customer Intelligence Testing team to help us continue to adopt and evolve our solutions. Our Customer Intelligence product is a cloud-based continuous-release product. You will be working across the boundaries of development, test, information technology and enterprise hosting to conquer new challenges for our division and company. You will be working as part of an elite agile team driving improvements and innovation in the Customer Intelligence solutions with responsibility for ensuring all releases meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking. The role requires strategic thinking and planning and providing expertise throughout the entire product development life cycle with a strong sense of quality ownership making sure that quality is baked in from the start.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Direct the development of the testing strategy, methodology, discipline and framework. Driving continuous improvement in areas of automated testing and agile testing.
    • Work with Agile team to develop and execute testing strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals.
    • Provide product direction leadership through collaboration with Customer Intelligence development, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Customers, and others within and outside SAS.
    • Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, and test automation.
    • Monitor and ensure that products / projects adhere to established R&D practices, procedures and schedules.
    • Provide technical leadership as appropriate to the division / department.
    • Initiate and enable cross-divisional collaboration to improve overall effectiveness of the R&D organization.
    • Represent the company and provide product presentations within or outside the company.
    • Direct and manage all aspects of the department including teamwork, performance management, providing feedback, and staff professional growth through collaboration with SAS Human Resources, SAS Education and Executive Leadership.
    • Keep current on relevant industry trends and standards as well as changing requirements and developments in the applicable product markets.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field, preferably Computer Science, Math, or Statistics or related quantitative field.
    • 7+ years of programming or testing experience.
    • Experience working with CI/CD technologies.
    • Demonstrated experience leading or managing technical staff at all levels.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive the overall planning and execution of complex testing activities.
    • Experience with DevOps methodology/practice.
