    Role Overview

    As an intern in the Global Corporate Real Estate department, you will have the opportunity to assist us in a variety of tasks from Design to Construction to Documentation on projects that are constructed worldwide.


    The following are potential tasks the Intern will perform:


    Capital Projects Support (Design & Construction)

    • Space Planning and furniture layouts
    • Assist Designers with finish and furniture selections (FF&E)
    • Ordering samples
    • Organizing the Design Library
    • Furniture walkthroughs and documentation on campus
    • Furniture punch list of recently installed product.
    • NEW furniture/picture inventory of public spaces across campus
    • Construction field verifications Construction Administration tasks (punch list, photos, etc.)
    • Assist with closeout documents
    • Produce meeting minutes and agendas
    • Uploading documentation to the project website  

    Real Estate:

    • Support CoStar implementation
    • Support TM/LA SP management
    • Define and collect site categorization and site classification information
    • Define and collect (by region) ideal real estate portfolio management and success metrics
    • Consolidate headcount for metrics and performance measurement
    • Create SLA’s and KPI’s  (automate if possible)
    • Bring forward innovation to simplify and optimize the CRE organization


    What are we looking for?

    • University students only, please, studying (Architecture/ Design, or Real Estate) It must be an accredited program.
    • Must not be graduating prior to May 2020
    • Ability to read and understand a set of construction plans
    • Understand furniture specifications
    • Proficient with Microsoft office suite
    • Organization skills
    • Physical demands include sufficient physical ability and mobility on construction job sites; which include the ability to walk up and down stairs, work indoors and outdoors in all seasons, and can walk project sites; as well as sufficient physical ability to work in an office setting which includes the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.

    What type of skills do we prefer?

    • Adobe Photo shop experience
    • Experience with construction, interior design, or architecture firm, or furniture dealership experience a plus.
    • Experience with Real Estate and Leases a plus
    • GPA of 3.0 or higher
