    The Veteran Employment, Training, and Support (VETS) Internship Program is designed to provide a valuable work experience to students or graduates who are transitioning from the military into the civilian workforce and have a desire to work in the tech field. The goal of the VETS program is to provide talented Veterans with an opportunity to work in a civilian corporate work environment, learn about technical career paths, receive mentorship and coaching, and to make meaningful contributions to our organization.


    We’re not about coffee runs and boring busywork. Our SAS Summer internship program is focused on development, culture and community. We’ll help you grow professionally, thrive in an award-winning work environment and make memorable connections with your co-workers and fellow interns. From contributing analytical code to improving insights for our Fortune 100 customers, the potential to make a real impact is exciting.


    We offer internships in the following areas:


    Technical: Software Development, Software Quality Testing, IT, UX/UI and Technical Consulting.

    • We're looking for candidates excited about developing and/or testing our world-leading analytics software or SAS tools. Projects could include a wide variety of front end and back end development or testing in languages such as Java, C, Python, HTML, Golang, and more.

    Business: Finance, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources

    • We’re looking for candidates motivated to use their business acumen skills to drive projects in areas such business analyst projects, advertising campaigns, digital marketing and social media strategies, financial reporting and analysis, or payroll processes, Our sales teams provide projects in exposure to the selling of SAS products, developing sales territories to drive new leads and influencing potential customers in becoming established customers.

    Analytical:  Statistics and Mathematics

    • Statistics and math are at the heart of what we do. If you love dealing with big data and have an analytical mind, we need your skills in areas to create test data, validate computations, analyze data, and solve high-value business problems.

    Corporate Services: Landscaping, Food Services, Support Teams

    • These teams provide a welcoming atmosphere for our employees and customer, and we have a need for folks that are passionate about customer service, and helping our campus operate effectively.

    In your application, you will indicate your areas of interest and skills, and our recruiters will pair you up with roles that align to you

    Timeline & Process

    • Interviews begin: October 2019, are on a rolling basis through January 2020.
      • Based on your interests notated on your application, and your background and experience, your resume will be shared with hiring managers across numerous teams. This will determine which teams you interview with during the selection process.

    What we’re looking for

    • Must have prior military service or are currently active duty reserve or guard, or are a spouse/domestic partner. Must meet & show proof of DoD standards of honorable active military service (
    • You’re a college student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and not completing the degree prior to December 2020.
    • You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
    • You’re involved inside and outside of the classroom. You’re passionate about more than just your academics.
    • You’re available to work full-time for 10-12 weeks over the summer.
    • You’re a leader. You lead projects and/or clubs and you sit in the front row of the class.
    • You’re a strong student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. You can balance academics and involvement like a pro.

    We need you to:

    • Have strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
    • Take ownership of your mistakes (catch them, if you can!), and learn from them.
    • Embrace technology. You geek out over the latest and greatest!
    • Be a team player. You’re always ready to pitch in.
    • Choose your own adventure. This internship is full of possibilities, so take advantage of them.
