From contributing analytical code to improving insights for our Fortune 100 customers, the potential to make a real impact is exciting.

    • Architect and Implement Networking Solutions to support data traversal between all SAS sites globally.  This includes hardware, software, and networking tool configurations for all networking devices and Security Vulnerability Upgrades.  This also includes Internet and private circuit connections.
    • Architect and Implement Networking Solutions in the Public Cloud – Amazon, Google, and MS Azure
    • Support Wi-Fi (access points and controllers) globally
    • Support SAS’ conferences and trade shows


    We need you to:

    • Enrolled in a degree seeking program and not graduating prior to December 2020.
    • Have strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
    • Be a leader. You’re the one sitting in the front row of the class.
    • Embrace technology. You geek out over the latest and greatest!

    What we’re looking for

    • You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
    • You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program.
    • Perform Security vulnerability upgrades on global hardware
    • Assist in AWS and Azure deployments
    • Onboard global network devices into our WAN networking tools
    • Research alarms and alerts produced from the tools – ie overutilization, flapping tunnels, etc – not necessarily debug the end issue
    • Assist in research and implementation of VPN requests for contractors and vendors
    • Assist in adding MAC exceptions for Captive Portal access on the guest networks
    • True-up DNS vs. PERC Monitoring vs. Network tools
    • Assist in staging network devices for software upgrades
    • Write simple scripts in SolarWinds to push global updates for security vulnerabilities
    • Assist Engineers in lab setup to test new configurations or technologies
    • Assist in Clean up and organization of Conference/Trade-Show network and supplies
    • Assist in wireless ap configurations due to mass installs after building upgrades

    Timeline & Process

    • Applications open: September 2019.
    • Interviews begin:  October 2019 on a rolling basis.
    • Internship: 10-12 weeks. Starts dates for the summer intern program are May 19, 2020 or June 9, 2020.
