As a Briefing Program Specialist within our Executive Briefing Center, you’ll plan and execute customer briefings at SAS’ World Headquarters and play a critical role in the success of the global sales organization.     What you’ll do

    • Foster relationships and collaborate with internal customer to develop and execute a full-service agenda that meets the requirements of the attending customer/prospect.
    • Partner with senior leadership, sales, and other areas of the company to create, plan, and execute customized briefings.
    • Plan briefings that meet the objectives of both the customer and account team.
    • Facilitate prep and planning calls with account team and discussion leaders to ensure everyone understands the briefing objectives.
    • Recommend and recruit appropriate speakers for briefings.
    • Partner with SAS divisions to successfully plan and implement briefings and other specialized on and off-campus events/activities.
    • Effectively communicate the services offered by the Executive Briefing Center and the benefits of those services on brand awareness and revenue generation.
    • Consult with internal and external stakeholders regarding best practices in the Executive Briefing Center.
    • Manage logistical aspects of Executive Briefing Center briefings/events.

    What we’re looking for

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or related field
    • At least 3 years’ experience in sales, marketing, corporate event planning or in a similar customer facing role
    • Excellent customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
    • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and project management skills.
    • Self-starter and self-motivated
    • Entrepreneurial spirit

    The nice to haves

    • Professional public speaking experience
    • Experience planning events in a corporate setting
