What you’ll do

We’re looking for an Internal Auditor to conduct financial, operational and compliance audits of SAS Institute and related entities.


You will:

  • Conduct internal audits in accordance with written audit programs.
  • Evaluate and document accounting controls and procedures.
  • Recommend changes in policies or procedures to increase efficiency of operations, or to improve safeguards over company assets.
  • Define audit scope and prepares audit programs to address financial and operational risks.
  • Conduct special projects as requested by management.
  • Work with outside auditors to help support the external auditing function.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.


What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent in accounting or related field. 
  • CPA certification required or other recognized accountancy qualification.
  • Typically requires five years of auditing experience, including two years with a large public accounting firm.

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles specific to the software industry
  • Strong knowledge of mainframe and PC accounting systems
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Oracle preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills
  • Strong spreadsheet software skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work with employees of all levels
  • Ability to travel 5%-10% of the time
