What you’ll do

We’re looking for a year-round intern to develop SAS stories and content alongside our editorial team. Our channels include blogs, an online magazine, marketing collateral, digital content and more. You will help tell our best stories by working alongside SAS experts, and help these to shine on our digital channels. You’ll also create original content to highlight SAS technology and opportunities for our customers and potential customers.

 

You will:

  • Help create communications to support SAS initiatives and engagement on our channels.
  • Work with SAS marketers and subject-matter experts to develop new content to build and share with visitors to sas.com.
  • Help promote the SAS brand by creating content that is clear, concise and shines a spotlight on the value that SAS brings to the world of analytics.
  • Support team members in shared projects such as ebooks, customer stories, white papers and articles.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree path in writing, journalism or communications.
  • Proven writing and editing skills in a variety of content types.
  • A fundamental understanding of search-engine optimization (SEO) to help ensure that SAS web assets are prominently displayed in search results.
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.

 

The nice-to-haves:

  • Digital authoring platforms experience such as WordPress and Adobe AEM.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
  • An understanding of marketing science and data literacy -- including coding, data analysis, data visualization.

 

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Comfortable with using your own voice in content.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into easily understandable content.

 

Location:

  • Cary, NC, Cleveland/Columbus, Ohio preferred, but open to location for the right candidate.
