What you’ll do
Implementation consultants within the SAS Justice and Public Safety Professional Services Team are responsible for the deployment, configuration, customization, integration and successful customer adoption of SAS’s suite of Justice and Public Safety solutions currently centered around the Intelligence and Investigations Management (IIM) product suite.
Consultants are involved in customer engagements at all lifecycle stages from assisting in pre-sales activities, contributing to proposals and RFP / RFI responses, all stages of implementation projects from initiation through requirements analysis, deployment, testing, enablement and post-deployment support. The role has a significant customer facing aspect and consultants in this position are expected to be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all time and in a manner that is appropriate for the unique dynamics of customers in the Justice and Public Safety domain. Over time, consultants in the role should become domain experts in the deployment of systems to Justice and Public Safety customers, understanding and being able to articulate the commonly seen system functionality, security and administrative considerations, legislative requirements and common integrations.
What we are looking for
Travel to customer sites is a requirement of the role and while the amount of travel required will vary from project to project, consultants can expect at times to be travelling up to 75% of their time.
