What you’ll do:
JMP, a division of SAS, is looking for a talented and motivated Test Engineer to lead test development for the elements of the software that we consider the “building blocks of JMP”. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality of the portable display objects that make up many of the objects in the software. You will also be responsible for testing the internal JMP Scripting Language (JSL) including its latest evolution to become more like an object-oriented language. You will be asked to create tools and scripts to automate tasks as needed, both for your testing assignments and to support to group’s centralized test efforts. The ideal candidate has good judgment, is creative, wants to work in an innovative and high-energy environment, and is passionate about quality. We’re looking for curiosity and a testing mindset. The person in this role will work closely with development and will be a significant contributor to identification and resolution of bugs in the software.
