What we’re looking for
Our Leader of Talent Acquisition, Americas is passionate about identifying talent, building teams, and will serve as the ultimate change agent and brand ambassador for SAS Talent Acquisition in the US, Canada and Latin America. We’re seeking a proactive, data-driven, strategic, and creative professional to lead our collaborative and high-energy team.

 

In this role, you will report to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition and will partner with business and technical leaders across the organization to design, plan, and execute a world-class career outreach and recruiting strategy. You’ll lead a dynamic team responsible for proactively attracting well-qualified diverse talent to all professional roles across the Americas. You’ll innovate, transform, and inspire us to think differently.

What you’ll do

  • Develop, define, and communicate talent acquisition strategy for the Americas
    Lead, mentor, and develop team of full life-cycle Talent Acquisition Specialists responsible for all hiring across Corporate HQ, the Americas, Canada and Latin America
  • Build strong partnerships with business and HR leaders to consult, influence change, and advocate for Talent Acquisition
  • Partner with global Talent Acquisition leaders to share best practices, scale, and modernize
  • Partner with Talent Operations team to drive consistent reporting and process standards with the goal of creating a positive hiring experience with our candidates and hiring teams
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Diversity Lead to develop strategies that advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process
  • Leverage technology, data, and analytics to research and implement recruitment innovations throughout the people pipeline
  • Serve as Americas SME on recruitment industry trends and best practices

What we’re looking for

  • At least twelve years of directly transferable professional experience in Talent Acquisition and/or recruitment within a corporate or agency setting
  • At five years of leadership experience, including two years in a formal leadership role
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
  • Experience using ATS systems and job boards

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities needed

  • Experience developing and implementing strategic, innovative hiring strategies to attract the best and brightest experienced talent
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing innovative recruiting processes to create talent pipelines for technology talent in a competitive market
  • Proven ability to design and implement Talent Acquisition solutions that drive business results
