What you’ll do
This position would work with these executive branch departments and independent regulatory agency to identify and pursue opportunities where SAS’ portfolio of analytics and big data solutions can drive better outcomes for the government and the citizens and stakeholders it serves. SAS can assist in leveraging data to improve outcomes, operational efficiency, and mission critical capabilities with unparalleled insights. We are considering candidates with agriculture industry, Executive Branch or regulatory agency, policy or business development experience in the federal space. This position will be responsible for driving new business, developing strategic account planning, executing on this plan, and working with the broader team to grow SAS software and consulting revenue with the Departments and agencies listed above.
We’re looking for an Account Executive who is passionate about building authentic relationships with customers, wants to help solve their business problems and is ready to drive sales of SAS software products, solutions, and services. The Account Executive will provide strategic guidance and lead SAS business development efforts in agriculture, labor, education, and consumer safety spaces. The primary areas of focus include but are not limited to strategies that address the needs of the Department of Agriculture, Department of Labor, Department of Education, and Consumer Product Safety Commission. This position would work with these executive branch departments and independent regulatory agency to identify and pursue opportunities where SAS’ portfolio of analytics and big data solutions can drive better outcomes for the government and the citizens and stakeholders it serves.
