What you’ll do
We are looking for a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead a world-class team of HR Business Partners. In this position, you will help your business leaders develop and execute HR priorities that enable business priorities and foster the SAS experience while ensuring the company is IPO-ready. This will require strong leadership and global collaboration, as you will advise and work across multiple C-Level Executives on strategic matters related to global HR functions while building organizational capability to increase speed and agility.
We are looking for a seasoned professional who will partner with the HRBP leadership team and business leaders on strategic HR initiatives. You must have a history of diagnosing issues and influencing long term solutions and outcomes. You must be able to collaborate across groups, influencing at all levels of the organization. You should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and engaging on a hands-on basis with individuals and teams, as well as operating strategically with leadership teams. You will need strong business acumen, executive coaching skills, excellent communications skills, strategic thinking, and planning/project management skills. You will be an ambassador for the company values and will keep people anchored to the SAS purpose, while directing a high-quality employee experienced focused on delivering business growth. This will require you to balance competing priorities and conflicting opinions to facilitate the best decisions for employees and the business in an environment of ambiguity and rapid change.
In collaboration with our Centers of Excellence (COEs), you will provide consulting expertise and action plans in areas such as performance coaching, talent management, organizational design, diversity and inclusion, career planning, leadership development, talent acquisition, and total rewards/compensation. You will be critical in driving and coaching leadership that creates and supports a values-based culture and effectively leading HR teams in a globally matrixed organization.
