What you’ll do

We are looking for a digital analytics platform manager to be a part of the Marketing Digital Transformation & Operations team within Marketing. This role manages and oversees design, implementation, and operation of digital analytics technologies (e.g., Google Marketing Platform and SAS Customer Intelligence 360) for use across multiple B2B digital channels.   

 

As a technical liaison for our web analytics administration and strategy, the platform manager works closely with the digital and content leads and other operations team members to create and operationalize performance plans, providing insights on website traffic, engagement trends, funnel performance, conversion rates and other website related activity with the goal to improve overall website and campaign performance. The digital analytics platform manager enables a data-driven approach to understanding audience behavior and improving customer experience. 

 

You will:

  • Administer digital analytics platform accounts, properties, user management, dashboards, and reports
  • Work with stakeholders to understand meaningful KPIs and ensures metrics are appropriately defined, implemented, and tested across our digital properties
  • Using digital analytics tools, create and provide oversight for reports and dashboards in alignment with marketing objectives
  • Develop standards for event tracking, conversion tracking, campaign tracking, and segments for both Google Analytics and SAS 360 Discover
  • Implement Tagging and Tracking standards and governance model
  • Work with internal teams to determine how we best incorporate digital data into our reports and dashboards to provide insights on performance and ROI on digital investments
  • Participate in the improvement and automation of digital analytics through ad tech platforms, data tools, and other emerging technologies (e.g., Google Ads Data Hub)
  • Assess system issues with the digital analytics platforms, and communicate updates, outages and other relevant information to end users and stakeholders
  • Enable and mentor regional digital marketing specialists on tag management, dashboarding and reporting approaches and best practices  
  • Enhance reporting in and use of digital data collected by SAS Customer Intelligence 360
  • Stay abreast of latest industry developments and product updates to provide input and recommendations on technical roadmaps and decisions 

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing data analytics, web analytics, data gathering, data organization, and report creation 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Applied Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. 
  • Direct experience using modern web analytics applications such as Google Analytics, SAS 360 Discover, Adobe Analytics 
  • Experience in Google Marketing Platform (e.g., Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio, Big Query) 
  • Google Analytics Certification 
  • Familiarity with visualization and data analysis programs (e.g., SAS, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) 
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities 
  • Working knowledge of data mining principles, predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources 
  • Be comfortable with a variety of data sets, uncovering insights and patterns 
  • A critical thinker with aptitude to isolate and fix technical issues related to flow of data.
  • Passionate about accuracy of data and its value to inform business decisions.

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Familiarity working in a Marketing Technology Stack environment (e.g., SAS Customer Intelligence 360, Oracle Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, Marketo, Google) 
  • Understanding of online measurements and best practices and B2B behavior concepts 
  • Proven record of building and maintaining clear reporting using visualization tools like SAS, Google Data Studio, PowerBI, Tableau, etc 
  • Ability to clearly explain complex ideas to multiple audiences and respond to questions 
  • Self-motivated, team leader/player, take initiative, quick learner, systematic, adaptable, etc 
  • Familiarity with SQL skills required for building tables, views, and implementing complex logic 
  • Experience in analyzing data within relational database systems (e.g., BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Oracle) 
  • Experience with SAS programming
  • HTM/HTML5 /CSS/Java Script.
  • Other front end languages (Phyton, NodeJS, PHP, etc.)
  • Integration of Web services via Rest API
  • Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.
