What you’ll do

As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will be a strategic HR advisor for the Risk and Fraud Divisions and be instrumental in helping the business drive growth and meet its organizational goals. You will have the opportunity to partner closely with the business leaders and employees by offering support in all major HR functional areas (workforce planning, organizational design, talent and leadership development, employee relations, compensation, and performance management) and identifying where HR contributions can positively impact the division’s business strategies. You will also partner and collaborate with HR specialist groups from Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Learning and Development to leverage their expertise in alignment with meeting the division’s talent objectives.

 

You will:

  • Partner with assigned SAS business units to deliver value-added services to management and employees that align with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the HR specialist teams in the development and implementation of employee programs and initiatives across SAS.
  • Partner with SAS business leaders to develop action plans that achieve organizational objectives.
  • Provide guidance and input on strategic workforce planning and talent management.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; provide guidance on, and assist in, performance improvement and conduct related issues.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution at all levels.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide policy guidance and interpretation; recommend and implement changes.
  • Ensure that the organization's needs are met in accordance with governmental requirements.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least eight years of demonstrated & comprehensive experience as a Human Resources Business Partner in the technology industry or supporting a technical customer base
  • Work experience involving client support in the following areas: employee relations, recruitment, compensation, policy interpretation, change management activities, management training, and performance management
  • Experience influencing senior leadership and building trust with employees and management teams
  • Can draw from extensive HR related experiences to develop and recommend action plans, guide managers through appropriate protocol and lead new initiatives
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.

 

The nice to haves

  • HR experience supporting a technical consulting, professional services or sales organization
  • PHR/SPHR/GPHR certification
  • Experience with HRIS, Workday preferred
  • Organizational design experience
