What you’ll do

We’re looking for an Events Technology Specialist who will perform strategic activities associated with the planning and implementation of marketing efforts aligned to overall company sales and marketing strategy. Works individually or with a team to project manage the plan, implementation, execution and analysis of regional, national or global events that include a combination of awareness lead generation, lead acceleration and retention marketing efforts. Designs and executes the technical aspects of the event.

 

You will:

  • Creates project plans focused on the implementation, execution and analysis of regional, national or global events. Acts as show producer, director, engineer, technical consultant for the planning and executing of a show event. Performs any technical requirement, as needed, to execute staging and event support
  • Identifies team members with appropriate skills that match specific agendas and services. Designs stage systems and equipment required to produce events. Operates and maintains lighting, cameras, and projection and audio systems, as required
  • Works individually or with a team to develop and execute project plans, timelines and schedules, estimate costs and manage projects to completion. Contracts vendors for staff and equipment as required
  • Leads efforts to create compelling content for events including making recommendations on appropriate topics and speakers for assigned projects
  • Partners and serves as a key liaison to multiple organizations across the company as needed to support the project being managed.
  • Facilitates communication among members of the project team
  • Monitors the progress and scheduling of individual and team projects; assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned projects.
  • Resolves any conflict between the project and other organizational units in a satisfactory manner, including engaging management as necessary.
  • Communicates results, evaluates overall success, and return on investment
  • Develops, tracks and maintains budgetary responsibilities

  • Considerable knowledge of computer displays, camera, lighting, audio and projection equipment
  • Considerable knowledge of event management
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours
