What you’ll do

Are you a go-getter and detailed-oriented candidate? Willing to dig in and work on whatever needs to be handled within the scope of this position?  We’re looking for an Associate Business Operations (Contract Position) to engage in a role that directly supports JMP Global business and sales operations to achieve the strategic goals of the organization. You will research and maintain standard and non-standard global data with a business acumen mindset in support of sales activities.

 

What you’ll be doing...

  • Maintain thorough working knowledge of all applications, computerized systems and internal processes related to the data transition of legacy accounts into the new JMP 1st systems.
  • Support the data transition project that may include the following:
    • Validate the accuracy of the legal entity at a specific location and modify salesforce.com (SFDC) records as needed
    • Develop an understanding of company pricing and licensing policies in order to create opportunities in salesforce.com(SFDC) to create new licenses for existing customer
    • Review contract terms and conditions
    • Ensure accuracy in customer information and contracts; undertakes the management and input of information in salesforce.com (SFDC) and related systems.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

What we are looking for…

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Prior experience supporting a Sales Environment
  • Results-oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage a heavy workload in a task-driven environment.
  • Tenacious and willing to independently carry out responsibilities associated with assigned tasks.
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement changes in new processes and technology.
  • Ability to multitask without sacrificing quality and accuracy in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in creating, maintaining, and manipulating Excel spreadsheets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • A natural curiosity and willingness to learn.

 

The nice to haves:

  • Experience with salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Experience with Docusign
  • Experience identifying the legal entity and related corporate family through research tools such as Dun & Bradstreet
