Location: Must live in Tallahassee. This role is not open to remote candidates.

 

As a Sr. State and Local Government Account Executive focused on Florida, you will:  

 

  • Sell software, solutions and services to current and prospective customers in a variety of subject matter areas; works with other sales personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities to acquire, grow and retain customers within assigned territory.
  • Manage broad base of existing customers focused on superior customer service and customer retention
  • Fulfill wide range of requests for information from prospective customers. Qualifies level of opportunity and type of account.
  • Prospect within a territory or account to uncover business needs.
  • Implement aspects of territory and account management and development; identifies accounts with high "close" potential, qualifies, and forecast time frames to close business.
  • Follow-up with customers to track satisfaction levels and to discover additional revenue opportunities.
  • Develop a basic understanding of company pricing and licensing procedures.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative field of study or equivalent verifiable experience
  • 8+ years of experience working in Florida State and Local Government *OR* selling software solutions to Florida State and Local Government.
  • Ability to travel as business needs require.
