About the job  

 

The Financial Services Division is looking for a Sr. Associate Account Executive who is passionate about building authentic relationships with Financial Services customers, wants to help solve their business problems and is ready to drive sales of SAS software products, solutions, and services. The Account Executive is responsible for driving growth in accounts in our Financial Services portfolio for the United States market.  This includes development of new and existing account relationships to expand our existing footprint, business prospecting and sales across customer business units.  You will champion the sales cycle and work across teams to achieve the best solution for our customer. 

 

As a Sr. Associate Account Executive, you will:  

  • Act as the account lead on assigned accounts, setting the sales strategy and taking overall responsibility for developing and enhancing the client relationship. 
  • Drive growth through hunting new opportunities 
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer objections, and develop the strategy to resolve blockers. 
  • Build and manage client relationships.  Manage the shaping and closure of opportunities leveraging SAS specialists to support the sales process. 
  • Oversee negotiations involving contract terms and pricing 
  • Serve as the primary day to day contact for clients in respective territory. 

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • 2+ years of experience in Field Sales
  • Understands the strategic goals, priorities, and budgetary constraints of assigned accounts and how they align to SAS/business analytics solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven, organized, strong time management skills.
  • Ability to think outside of the box / beyond traditional capture strategies to reach goals.
  • Demonstrated analytical, reasoning, planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to Travel (50%)
