About the job

 

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of SAS’s CloudOps Platform. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and experienced professional with expertise in NodeJS Express, Java/Kotlin Spring, and React. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

 

As a Sr. Software Developer, you will:

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using NodeJS Express, Java Spring, and React.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Implement and maintain automated unit tests and participate in test-driven development practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by clients or detected during testing phases.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to improve product quality and performance.

Required Qualifications

 

  • At least 8 years of experience in a Software Development Role
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
  • Proficiency in building RESTful APIs with NodeJS Express or Java/Kotlin Spring, as well as developing responsive web interfaces using React.
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and/or unit testing frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of database design and optimization, including experience with relational (RDMS) and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with developing cloud-native solutions with security-by-design using OIDC or OAuth2.0 for authentication, such as Okta or Azure AD.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
