The Inside Sales and Business Development team within the U.S. Financial Services business unit is the driving force behind our relentless pursuit of growth in sales revenue. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will:

 

  • Generate incremental revenue through lead follow up, social selling, prospecting, cold-calling, up-selling and cross-selling activities within a territory or account.
  • Identify and target potential clients and partners through extensive market research, social media, and licensed tools for lead and demand generation by creating and maintaining prospecting campaigns.
  • Generate, maintain and optimize leads, opportunities, and client interactions within our CRM system to ensure a healthy and efficient sales pipeline.
  • Prepare standard quotations and proposal information as needed; works with other SAS departments to create and finalize contracts and sales fulfillment requirements e.g. sells support documentation and services that compliments existing software license.
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic planning for territory and account activity with sales and pre-sales teams.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to develop an understanding of industry trends, terminologies, basic software applications, operating systems, hardware requirements, company pricing, policies and licensing procedures.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
  • Ensures all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals. 

  

Required qualifications

 

  • 5 years of Sales or Business Development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working for an IT Company.
  • Strong prospecting skills. 
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas, with quantifiable metrics of past achievements.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and contribute to the development of innovative sales strategies.
  • An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

  

Preferred qualifications

 

  • Software Sales experience.
  • Experience selling technical solutions into Financial Services.
