About the job 

As a Program Manager in the Legal Division with a focus on transactional operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organization’s strategic initiatives are delivered successfully. You will drive efficiency, innovation, and growth in alignment with our leadership’s strategic direction.

 

As a Legal Transactional Program Manager, you will:  

  • Partner with Legal Leadership to break down strategic vision for the transactional team into actionable initiatives.
  • Manage and periodically update a global contracting framework for commercial transactions.
  • Plays a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of Legal initiatives, partnering with cross-divisional business units when necessary.
  • Be accountable for attainment of overall project goals while managing scope and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead and document functional requirements for implementing and enhancing business applications.
  • Drive business transformation through reporting, process, data, and system changes.
  • Use a variety of techniques and tools to capture business needs (Agile Methodology, Business Process Mapping, Customer Journey Mapping, Gap Analysis, etc.).
  • Maintain project documentation including updates to the project portfolio, plans, schedules & status reports. Communicate project details regularly to stakeholders & leadership.  Lead presentations related to projects, as requested.
  • Maintain knowledge of the transactional space in Legal, their processes, data, and systems, including industry best practices for the business function.
  • Oversee and manage the process of organizational change within the transactional team. Act as a change agent to drive transformation within the business, working to minimize resistance and maximize engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Technology or related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of five years of experience researching, analyzing and/or reporting information related to specific area of assignment.
  • Excellent analysis, negotiation, collaboration, facilitation, and presentation skills, including the ability to speak at an appropriate technical and business level for the audience.
  • You to bring global business perspective and expertise.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification desirable or equivalent professional training preferred
  • Experience with one or more of the following – Legal Operations, Corporate Legal Contracting Process, Corporate Legal, Business Operations, Business Analyst, Program/Project Management.
  • Working knowledge of software and architecture principles such as application development or low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Familiarity with DocuSign Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Oracle LTC applications.
  • Experience with Organizational Change Management and effectively driving change.
  • PMP or Change Management certification
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira & Confluence a plus.
