Start Date:  We are hiring for year-round and summer interns. Part-time interns work 10-15 hours during the academic year and full-time during the summer.

Location:  Cary, NC Headquarters (Hybrid)

As an intern, you might: 

  • Create compelling and tailored messaging, email marketing, and outreach strategies to capture the attention of new and existing clients
  • Identify and target potential clients and partners through extensive market research, social media, and licensed tools
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of networking events (in-person and virtual) to cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers
  • Assist in preparing materials and information for discovery meetings with clients. This includes research on client backgrounds and current software footprint at SAS.
  • Work with the team to gather and analyze data on prospecting campaigns, engagement metrics, and sales performance
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to nurture and maintain client relationships. Help with client engagement, follow-ups, and maintaining client databases to promote lead generation.

  

Required qualifications

  • You’re an undergraduate college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2025.
  • Currently pursuing undergraduate degree studying Business, Finance, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to build relationships and a willingness to make connections toward establishing a strong professional network.
  • A team player and collaborative spirit who enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting market growth.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Candidates with interest or experience in business development, sales, marketing, public relations, or event planning will be strongly considered.

  

Timeline 

  • Applications open: September 2024 
  • Applications close: This application will close October 20, 2024 (additional internship positions will be posted through March 2025)
  • Interviews begin: October 2024 on a rolling basis.
  • Internship:
    • Year Round:  Beginning Spring 2025 
    • Summer Only: May 20 – August 8, 2025. If your university is on a quarter system, we can be flexible on start date.

 

 

Location

  • Cary, NC HQ office.  Must be local to the Cary area and be willing to come into the office a couple times a week in a Hybrid capacity.

Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for SAS internships is determined by the applicant’s year in school and the position they are hired into. Hourly rates range from $15 – $31 for associate’s/bachelor’s level positions and $29 - $49/hour for master’s/Ph.D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus.
