We’re also a debt-free multi-billion-dollar organization on our path to IPO-readiness. If you're looking for a dynamic, fulfilling career coupled with flexibility and world-class employee experience, you'll find it here.

What you’ll do

Looking for *that* internship? The game-changing one that’ll help you learn, grow, and chart your path forward? You’ll find it at SAS. Our interns aren’t coffee runners – they do real, meaningful work. Our award-winning internship program is focused on development, culture, and community. We’ll help you grow professionally, find (or further) your passion, and make memorable connections that last beyond the summer.

The Healthcare and Public Sector (HPS) Pre-Sales team for Risk, Fraud and Compliance (RFC) Solutions is a global team spanning 3 continents.  We support sales teams by bringing subject matter expertise, bid and capture support, business development and technical support to address customer needs and drive success and significant growth for SAS.  Our team members span diverse backgrounds and skill sets.  Many come from the types of programs our customers run today, helping us understand their goals and challenges.

As an intern, you might:

  • Lead research into current SAS market footprint in targeted areas and geographies, as well as competitors and the state of the market – to support pursuit of opportunities and alignment of team messaging and marketing materials
  • Develop graphical assets to support bid responses and presentations
  • Assist in research on use of Gen AI tools in the marketplace (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot, Google Gemini or Grok on X)
  • Participate in virtual and/or in person meetings and communicate and share insights with colleagues
  • Support the bid and capture process through:
    • Tracking opportunities and their movement, using systems like GovWin and state procurement sites
    • Research and record intelligence found in GovWin or state publications, such as: current contract holder, previous procurement bidders, state budget related to opportunity, contracts and other related documents.
    • Cataloging and adapting resources in the bid re-use library, or assisting in the expansion of the bid library to new segments of the industries we cover
    • Perform pre-sales research of existing contracts to note gaps for SAS, areas we would need partners to cover, and other areas of note, like liquidated damages, use of offshore vs. U.S. resources and conflict of interest definitions
  •  As part of our team’s global expansion, research local laws/rules to raise awareness when assessing opportunities or preparing bid responses
  • Assist in cataloging, evaluating and preparing marketing materials, including digital channels, for current and emerging solution areas
  • Review and assess marketing materials and messages from key competitors

Required Qualifications

  • Students enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Management, Communications, Market or Operations Research, Government, Economics or similar field, not graduating prior to December 2025
  • You have demonstrated knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and the ability to learn SharePoint and Teams
  • Strong attention to detail in recording and communicating decisions and outcomes
  • Self-starter – You have the drive and desire to take the ball and run with it
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you’ll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty
  • You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology
