About the job
The SAS9 Base team within R&D is looking for a SDET to work with development to create test cases that reflect real customer use cases.You’ll join a team who value collaboration, open communication, thoughtful automation, and continuous improvement. We work closely with global colleagues, bringing together diverse perspectives to solve complex problems and deliver high-impact software. In this role, you will also automate regression testing using tools like Jenkins. In addition, you will continuously analyze and enhance test coverage.
As a SDET, you will:
Required Qualifications
Advanced proficiency of at least one and familiarity with multiple programming languages such as Java, C, C#, C++, Groovy and SAS.
Advanced Proficiency in one and familiarity with multiple scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Bash.
Fluent in state-of-the-art techniques, standards, and procedures for software test development.
Expert in one test automation framework demonstrating the ability to create shareable code.
Proficient with source control management techniques including branching, code review, and merging.
Familiarity with platform configuration, integration, and secret management.
Ability to pivot quickly and seamlessly toward areas of need.
Conceptual understanding of at least one markup language like XML.
Strong knowledge of Unix and Windows environments, MVS experience a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Programming experience with C, Java and SAS.
Scripting experience with Python
