About the job 

The Alliances and Channels team is looking for a Senior Alliance Specialist to build regional Service Provider partner strategy, develop business plans which identify solution focus, target markets and priority clients and segments, while regularly measuring effectiveness in revenue, customer wins, pipeline expansion, marketing objectives and partner services. Programmatic responsibilities include stakeholder relationship mapping and cadenced communications, governing program tenets, partner profile and criteria, and brokering execution connections that align to and optimize SAS Channels GTM strategy.

We work collaboratively across stakeholders and decision makers to develop business plans and commercial agreements that create competitive and winning opportunities in the indirect ecosystem. As a Senior Alliance Specialist, Americas Service Provider, you will:

  • Develop and execute regional and global business plans aligned with SAS global channels strategies, focusing on measurable goals and success criteria.
  • Serve as primary contact for regional territories for all Service Provider opportunities, managing relationships and jointly owning revenue and performance outcomes.
  • Create and drive joint business plans that expand SAS market presence through indirect channels, aligning with direct sales efforts.
  • Align and coordinate internal and external key stakeholders across SAS and partner organizations to support and executive go to market initiatives.
  • Govern program compliance, track key metrics and lead regular stakeholder reviews and executive briefings.
  • Co-develop Service Provider offerings by aligning on goals, integrating technologies, setting pricing models, and defining KPIs for continuous growth.
  • Lead the approvals process and set expectations on system documentation for reporting and invoicing.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires 8 years’ experience in sales, business partner relationship development or similar discipline
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or other related field.
  • Proven selling experience within HLS, MANUF, IOT, Channels/Solution sales.
  • Extensive experience in commercial negotiations across stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build a business plan that includes multiyear financial planning.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

  • Service Provider experience, including MSP and ASP work.
