About the job

The Facilities Services Department is seeking a Senior Office Administrator to support our service teams at our campus headquarters. This role is vital to our mission of delivering exceptional customer service to employees each day. As a key member of the team, the Senior Office Administrator will help manage customer expectations, coordinate building-related activities, and work closely with our in-house support teams to contribute to the overall success and continued growth of the company.

 

As a Senior Office Administrator, you will:

  • Act as department liaison; distributes appropriate information to, and continually communicates with, staff.
  • Screen telephone calls; take messages or redirect calls; respond to routine questions.
  • Arrange meetings and seminars; coordinate processes, events, and office moves.
  • Input data into software applications, verify accuracy, and produce requested reports.
  • Assist department staff with administrative duties using online applications.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

Required Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience in general office experience, preferably related to area of assignment
  • Associate’s degree in Secretarial Science, Business Administration, Administrative Office Technology, or related field.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
  • Minimum essential requirements
    • Strong level knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
    • Excellent problem solving, writing, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
    • Demonstrates good judgment
    • Advanced level knowledge of internal SAS applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work between the hours of 8am to 5pm M-F in a hybrid work environment.
  • Professional communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work in a team environment that may require quick high-pressure decisions. 
  • Prefer good knowledge of Oracle Fusion; willingness to be trained and have some accounting skills.
  • SharePoint – prefer someone already with a very good knowledge base and skillset.
  • ServiceNow – general knowledge and understanding.
  • Ability to support many functions across Facilities Services, Landscaping, Housekeeping, Fleet Management Departments.
