About the job 

 

The Senior Manager, Global Early Careers Recruiting & Programs will lead SAS’s global strategy, execution, and governance for early career talent programs while managing a high-performing team responsible for hiring and program delivery. This leadership role focuses on guiding a team that drives recruitment for interns and entry-level talent and oversees program design and execution. They will ensure alignment between HR, Talent Acquisition, and business units to deliver scalable, inclusive, and high-impact programs, while fostering collaboration and accountability across regions. 

 

As a Senior Manager, Global Early Careers Recruiting & Programs you will:   

 

  • Lead and develop a global team responsible for recruiting interns and entry‑level talent and managing emerging career programs end‑to‑end, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to drive strong outcomes. 
  • Define and execute global program timelines, communications, and structures, ensuring consistency across regions while thoughtfully accommodating local market nuance. 
  • Design and continuously evolve early career experiences, including learning paths, mentorship frameworks, rotational opportunities, and development programs that enhance engagement and retention. 
  • Lead workforce and talent planning for emerging careers, including annual demand collection, requisition strategy, intern‑to‑FTE conversion planning, and budget alignment in partnership with key stakeholders. 
  • Oversee sourcing, selection, and conversion strategies to deliver a strong, inclusive candidate experience and high‑quality early career hires globally. 
  • Establish and monitor success metrics and dashboards (e.g., conversion, retention, performance, ROI), leveraging data and external benchmarking to continuously improve program effectiveness and competitiveness. 
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Required Qualifications 

  • 12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Strategy, or Early Career Program Management with at least five years in a leadership role. 

  • Proven ability to lead global initiatives and manage high-performing teams. 

  • Demonstrated experience leading intern and emerging talent programs globally including design, delivery and conversion strategies.   

  • Experience recruiting for global programs with an understanding of local market nuances and university recruiting timelines across regions. 

  • Proven experience redesigning and optimizing talent acquisition or early‑career program processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and candidate/manager experience. 

  • Strong project management, communication, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making skills. 

  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
