Program Manager, Global Channels – Contract Position

About the job    

 

As a Program Manager, Global Channels, you’ll work directly with the Channel Operations Manager on the development and execution of all aspects of the SAS Partner Program.  This includes the operational execution strategy of all program requirements and benefits, systems, governance and metrics of the program.   In addition, you’ll serve as an ambassador for the Partner Program to help drive awareness and adoption with both internal stakeholders and the partner community.  

 

 

You Will, 

 

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program.
  • Prioritize enhancements and updates to the partner program.
  • Project Management responsibility for key strategic initiatives
  • Solidify support from stakeholder organizations to develop program enhancements. Liaise with stakeholder organizations to ensure successful communication about program enhancements, news and updates.
  • Evaluate overall effectiveness of the program by reviewing 360 survey results, benchmarking data from 3rd party consultant, and feedback from the regions. Use this data to develop recommendations regarding areas for program improvements to ensure that the Partner Program meets the needs of the global alliances and channels organization and is effectively meeting the goals and objectives for the Program.
  • Support teams responsible for implementing enhancements and updates to the program. Collaborate with leads on various program components.
  • Ensure that Alliances & Channels personnel are educated on the program so that they can successfully support the program with their partners.  Provide timely responses to questions about the program.

  • Independently manage one or more large scale complex programs.
  • Monitor effectiveness of Partner Program and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Build a business case for potential process and/or procedure solutions and completes cost/benefit analyses as support.
  • Recommend process improvement audits and/or operational reviews for management consideration.

 Required Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Accounting, Analytics or related field 
  • At least five years of experience researching, analyzing and/or reporting information related to specific area of assignment. Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification desirable or equivalent professional training preferred 
  • Experience using project plans and timelines to measure quality of deliverables that meet documented goals and objectives for special projects.
  • Ability to provide clear and timely communications on status of assigned responsibilities through the use of project status reports and documented processes. 
  • Ability to lead program teams and gain consensus
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent knowledge and competence in related business functional area
  • Strong accounting, math and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
