You will be contributing to and owning the development and integration capabilities of one of SAS’ premier products, the Memex Platform. Memex assists criminal justice systems in preventing crime by helping law enforcement proactively investigate open criminal cases and manage suspects, confiscated property, confidential informants, field reports, and intelligence.
In this technical consulting role, you will provide additional software configuration, development and integration capabilities to the Justice and Public Safety Professional Services team. This is a development position requiring hands-on expertise using C#, Perl and other programming languages, within the Linux platform, while working onsite at the client in the Austin area.
While primary duties will focus on defining the functionality and scope of features and services as well as delivering the completed product, you will actively interact directly with the client groups, as well as act as a product expert focused on alleviating any customer concerns proactively.
This position will require someone who can work independently and as part of a team that is delivering software installation, configuration, customization or data Integration services to a strict project schedule. You will accurately assess levels of effort and be able to report progress or roadblocks proactively.
Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education requirement stated above.
