This role directly supports SAS Customer Engagement & Support (CES) business operations in order to achieve the strategic goals of the organization. Support consists of managing projects and programs that foster collaboration across all areas of the organization, with focus on the US Consulting division within CES.


Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing communications deliverables and activities in support of US Consulting and its Vice President. This role will create and implement a plan to translate executive strategy into engaging internal communications that inspire, engage and align the activity of all division employees.


This role will provide advice and support to division leaders on how to meet objectives within designated communications areas. This role will write and edit internal and external communications, including articles, services descriptions, use cases, announcements, marketing materials, web pages, and other electronic communications. This role will integrate both new and traditional media approaches to stay current with communication trends and target audiences. Examples include drafting presentations, supporting both leadership team and all-hands meetings, and creating talking points for a broad range of situations.



  • 3-5 years of experience in an internal communications, public relations, corporate communications, marketing, or related role
  • Experience in developing and executing communication plans utilizing a range of media
  • Experience with writing and editing material (such as blogs or newsletter articles) in a journalistic style
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization, including corporate executives and business leaders
  • Ability to work with senior leaders under tight deadlines and translate ideas and concepts into professional communication products, including talking points, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, articles, e-mails to staff, and other communication products
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Exceptional collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
