We are looking for an Analytic Software Tester join the world's leading analytics software company in our IoT division. If you want to make a difference in the way we’re helping customers get more value from the connected world by fusing analytics with Internet of Things (IoT) data..this is the position for you!

 

This position allows the opportunity to test and validate highly complex IoT solutions, perform end-to-end integration solution testing and test the individual components and their connections as well.  Also, you willl plan, build, document, and execute test plans and validation plans for new and existing IoT solutions. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to help develop performance benchmarks and capture metrics used to identify performance hotspots. This position works closely with the IoT development team to write and execute new test cases, modify/enhance existing tests, report and verify defects, and perform other duties as assigned. You will be able to give input and review software documentation and to feedback to development and the technical writing staff.  In this role, you will build expertise in testing specialized areas of IoT Solutions and be given the opportunity to participate in professional short courses and conferences.

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or a Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, applied mathematics, economics or a related field
  • Experience testing and validating analytics
  • Experience with multiple operating systems, such as UNIX and Windows

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to handle deadlines in multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance on day-to-day work and new projects or assignments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities

Preferences:

  • Experience with developing & implementing test plans
  • Experience with test automation including shell scripting, Perl, Python
  • Experience with C/C++ or Java
  • Ability to work closely with technical support groups as needed
