Our team is enabling privileged access management for hundreds of human users and thousands of machine accounts across multiple environments. We need an energetic and motivated individual to drive implementation of the PAM tool, migrate existing users, accelerate adoption by new users, and provide an outstanding user experience all while meeting SAS’ compliance and security requirements.   This team also supports technologies related to identity services such as: Active Directory/Azure AD, Federation Services/Single Sign-On (Okta), Privileged Access Management (Delinea/Thycotic), Multi-Factor Authentication, and Identity Governance.   As a PAM Lead Security Engineer, you will:   - Be the primary PAM technical and program management resource; the candidate will lead project planning, roadmap development, progress reporting, compliance, contract renewal, technical support, and program management. - Coordinate and execute PAM initiatives and adoption throughout SAS. - Provide hands-on administration and maintenance of PAM technology as well as familiarity with other IAM technologies. - Partner with CIS architects to develop reference architecture and systems integration. - Configure and maintain—or ensure the correct configuration and maintenance of—hardware, software, and network firewalls and encryption protocols related to the PAM tool and supporting infrastructure. - Research latest security best practices, staying abreast of new threats and vulnerabilities and helps disseminate this information to appropriate groups within the organization. - Assist in developing and implementing controls to enforce security policies to control physical and virtual access to systems. - Communicate well and work with cross-functional teams to meet PAM program goals by ensuring the team is meeting requirements regarding compliance, scope, reliability, and adherence to enterprise standards. - Successfully manage relationships with SAS personnel and all stakeholders. Required Qualifications - Ability to participate in 24x7 paid on-call. - 2+ years of direct experience with Privileged Access Management technology (Delinea/Thycotic, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, etcetera) and contribution to PAM migration and adoption. - Experience with Active Directory (on-premises, Azure AD), LDAP, and other directory services and integrating these with security tools. - Familiarity with IAM domain knowledge including RBAC, managed workflows, and task auditability. - Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of IAM or Information Security experience. - You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. Our curiosity fuels innovation, pushing boundaries, challenging the status quo and changing the way we live.    What you’ll do   The Technical Account Manager – Production Support, will support SAS US Public Sector Healthcare services and support engagements by providing technical project management, leadership, remediation and consulting on large-scale projects.  They will provide ongoing and follow-up support on technical issue resolution across all needed internal and external organizations.  All projects utilize healthcare platforms and interoperability standards specifically in the context of a Health Information Exchange (HIE). This individual will establish and build broad relationships with the customer, and our highly matrixed interdepartmental team, by bringing healthcare technical domain and expertise to assist with the solutioning of Production level issues, defects and problems and by strategizing on new opportunities/goals to improve the existing platform and related integrations.  They will communicate and present current SAS and third-party technologies, as well as options for future direction. They will work with the HIE Program Manager and other PMs on customer/participant related activities while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. They will also help the customer maximize the value of their SAS products and services which will result in the preservation of our renewal revenue.   Primary Responsibilities: - Collaborate with others on a matrixed team to support, remediate, consult and execute on standard operations as well as special projects within the SAS US Public Sector Healthcare Production Support Team. - Serve as a technical project manager for all projects related to developing, scaling, maintaining and managing the production Intersystems Healthshare (3rd party) platform and related integrations. - Provide hands-on technical project management expertise for large-scale customer problem resolution and implementations that utilize healthcare interoperability standards (e.g. HL7/FHIR, CDA, IHE, X12). - Serve as the primary Production Support technical contact for the USPS Project and Delivery Team as well as hired sub-contractors and vendor partners. - Work with the development team to deliver level of effort estimates, communicate assumptions and risks associated with implementing new/upgraded technical solutions and classify the severity of reported issues/defects that relate to healthcare interoperability. - Participate in product and solution training to acquire and maintain a detailed level of product knowledge of SAS and third-party offerings. - Engage customer or participant at executive and other levels to nurture and enhance relationships as needed. - Advise on technical design and delivery best practices for healthcare interfaces. - Coordinate the creation and completion of technical design and specification documents for internal and external audiences. - Document all work in the appropriate SAS ticketing system, compile status reports and ensure that account action items are completed and/or escalated to the appropriate level of management. - Document how the platform and integrations are being used and periodically recommend changes or enhancements. - Stay current on industry activities related to interoperability standards and the tools/software/features used to support these standards. - Provide rotational Level-2 on-call support as needed.   Essential - Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, or related field - 3 or more years project managing the development and maintenance of healthcare interfaces that utilize interoperability standards (e.g. HL7/FHIR, CDA, IHE, X12) - Experience with the Intersystems technology stack, i.e. Caché, Healthshare, Ensemble in a Healthcare environment or similar/competitive product - Experience with 2 or more HL7 integration engines including Intersystems Ensemble, Nextgen/Mirth and others (e.g., Rhapsody, Cloverleaf) - Experience in SQL with the ability to perform queries for support or debugging purposes - Experience gathering technical requirements and presenting technical information to broad teams, leadership, and non-technical audiences which may include healthcare executives and care providers - Technical writing skills and experience creating technical specification documents for distribution externally - Experience in a customer facing role - Laser focused ability to problem solve as well as resolve issues in a timely or iterative way to ensure customer/participant impact is at an absolute minimum. - Willingness and eagerness to grow into new areas of healthcare services and support as needed (e.g. population health, healthcare analytics, receipts based HIE business model, broadened exchange capabilities, new technologies to improve current offerings, etc.) - Ability to travel as business needs require   The nice to haves   - Knowledge of current issues and trends within healthcare interoperability, specifically in the context of Health Information Exchange - Ability to communicate with people of various technical and business backgrounds - Ability to engage with customers to identify business problems and requirements - Exposure to SAS products - Ability to relate current industry issues and trends to SAS offerings - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills - Strong project management and problem-solving skills - Easy to work with, prefer a team environment (sometimes matrixed). - Execute on and own certain functions directly, while also recognizing the importance of serving as a subject matter expert in a supportive role.   Other knowledge, skills, and abilities - Experience using and deploying SAS or similar products in a healthcare setting - Experience developing and maintaining healthcare interfaces using Intersystems HealthShare products - Experience with Mirth and Ensemble - Experience in creating or analyzing Javascript code - Knowledge of HTTP, FTP, TLS, VPN connections - Work location in Cary, NC preferred but not required Why SAS - We love living the #SASlife and believe that happy, healthy people have a passion for life, and bring that energy to work.   This is an unarmed security role. The schedule for this role is Thursday - Monday, 12 am - 8 am.
