Our curiosity fuels innovation, pushing boundaries, challenging the status quo, and changing the way we live.    What we’re looking for   We are seeking a Sr Manager, Decision Science, to transform talented data scientists into a venerable team that can deliver expert decision sciences advice in implementing and managing artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions in the Insurance and Banking businesses.   What you’ll do - Train and develop top talent in areas of business, technical and analytical for engaging customers on solving business challenges - Standardize data science resources, including code libraries and documentation of methods and algorithms used, including artificial intelligence and machine learning - Develop ideas of efficient ways for revenue generation from data and analytics for the clients  - Manage and execute proof of technology for data science applications - Educate college students, client employees on data and decision science skills using SAS - Develop ways to create and maintain public and synthetic data for model training and analytics - Identify specific business uses that can deliver value, evaluate, document, and maintain an inventory - Establish clearly defined uses or outcomes for proof of technology or value for clients - Identify data, analytics, and models to create new revenue streams. - Establish & maintain a sound competitive baseline. - Develop & maintain relationships with CDOs and CAOs. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Demonstrated ability to frame and reframe questions to solve complex business challenges with data analytics using AI/ML - “Translate” the business needs to data scientists, data engineers, and other tech experts so they can build an actionable analytics solution. - Ability to separate reality from hype and bring forth practical ideas for clients in the use of AI/ML in their context - Demonstrable experience of building, leading and managing a team of innovative, collaborative, and customer focused of data scientists. - Extensive knowledge of at least one analytical programming language (such as SAS, Python or R) - Demonstrable experience in software package/library development and writing reusable code; creating and/or delivering technical training programs; using a variety of statistical and numerical methods and algorithms - Experience of using machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies. - Experience of using distributed version control software (e.g., Git) Education and Experience   Master’s degree desired, preferably in computer science, applied mathematics or related field. Requires five years of outcome-based experience in data science and expertise, development, technical architecture, and design.   Equivalency   Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the requirements stated above.
