SAS is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative thought leader to support our health care sales teams. As our Strategic Advisor in the health care marketing & experience domain, you’ll help our SAS health care sales teams achieve revenue targets by providing domain expertise, develop and deliver targeted messages around SAS analytical offerings to clients, and provide influence on go-to-market plans. You’ll also serve as a resource to product management and research and development teams to ensure SAS offerings address customer needs.   To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter who exhibits a passion for problem-solving. Activities include: - Identification of industry trends and sources of major disruption in the industry. - Establishing strategic vision and value propositions based on SAS offerings. - Articulating solutions to customers at the C-level. - Address what to sell and how to sell it, identifying gaps in existing efforts that need to be tackled. - Coach the sales force on industry-focused account strategies. - Introduce new account penetration strategies to the sales force. - Develop & maintain relationships with partner organizations to establish focused and effective teaming arrangements that benefit sales. Our curiosity fuels innovation, pushing boundaries, challenging the status quo, and changing the way we live.    What you’ll do We’re looking for a Manager Business Development SAS Cloud to support a US based team of individuals to drive sales and adoption of SAS Cloud.Leads a sales team in identifying and closing SAS Cloud and hosting opportunities and enabling the team to communicate a consistent message to our customers and/or business partners. This individual will also develop and maintain relationships with sales staff, customers, internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful positioning of SAS Cloud.     You will - In coordination with Sales teams, leverage methodologies and best practices to develop proposals, value propositions, pricing estimates and participates in contract negotiations for SAS Cloud and Hosting engagements from inception through the start of delivery for new and upgraded offerings and services. - Demonstrate the value of SAS Cloud to internal stakeholders as well as external customers and support the team in understanding and representing the full value of the offering to our clients. - Establish ongoing, strong customer and SW Sales channel relationships to manage expectations and support long term partnerships to drive continuing SAS Cloud opportunities. - Establish strong relationships with internal SAS stakeholders including Delivery, IT, Legal, R&D, Customer Loyalty, Pre-Sales and Technical Support teams. - Coordinate multiple internal stakeholders in response to proposal requests, which could include Consultants, Architecture teams, Project Management Office, Sales Enablement, Compliance, etc. Leverage resources wisely and in balance with the level of qualification of the opportunity and revenue potential. - Manage a SAS Cloud revenue target including opportunity pipeline/funnel development and management; and providing accurate forecasting of SAS Cloud revenue for the assigned team What we’re looking for - Minimum 5 years of Sales Experience. - Excellent knowledge of strategic sales. - Clear understanding of sales strategies and cycles. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Expertise in cloud deployments and value proposition. - Good understanding of current technology trends and market expectations. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment; ability to work independently; ability to travel as needed to support sales opportunities and SAS events. - Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, decision making, and interpersonal skills. - You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable.
