Summary of Duties: Forge trusted advisor relationship with customers by understanding business and technical needs to identify areas in which SAS can provide value and return on investments through demonstrations and other customer-facing interactions. We are seeking a Principal Industry Consultant focused on our Processing Manufacturing sub-sector to support the sales organization by providing strategic domain support for industry prospects and customers. This role complements our Discrete Manufacturing team. The software includes design, production, batch, and real-time components. These products are developed for business to use in online production systems to automate operational business decisions. The software is used in a variety of industries including consumer banking, customer management, retail, fraud, finance, manufacturing, and collections.    You will work on an engineering team that delivers dedicated technical support for key customers. This position requires direct and proactive communication with customers in a 24/7 support delivery model. You will be required to be on call some nights and weekends; however, you will receive additional support from designated support staff as well.   What we’re looking for - You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable.
