Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Demonstrated ability to frame and reframe questions to solve complex business challenges with data analytics using AI/ML - “Translate” the business needs to data scientists, data engineers, and other tech experts so they can build an actionable analytics solution. - Ability to separate reality from hype and bring forth practical ideas for clients in the use of AI/ML in their context - Demonstrable experience of building, leading and managing a team of innovative, collaborative, and customer focused of data scientists. - Extensive knowledge of at least one analytical programming language (such as SAS, Python or R) - Demonstrable experience in software package/library development and writing reusable code; creating and/or delivering technical training programs; using a variety of statistical and numerical methods and algorithms - Experience of using machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies. - Experience of using distributed version control software (e.g., Git) Education and Experience   Master’s degree desired, preferably in computer science, applied mathematics or related field. Requires five years of outcome-based experience in data science and expertise, development, technical architecture, and design.   Equivalency   Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the requirements stated above.
