Through the acquisition of Kamakura SAS is now a major vendor of financial risk data and analytics especially with respect to credit default and market spread information that can be used by traditional banks and insurance companies to hedge their credit risks as well as by investment and pension fund managers to improve the returns on the investments they hold and trade. SAS intends to aggressively grow this business, so we are looking for data professionals to help acquire, curate, architect and manage the data environment to allow for this growth.
The position includes the identification of data sources to enhance our modeling, expand our product offerings and contributes to the growth and acceptance of the product in the market. Helps manage the information by identifying optimal ways to organize, store, and secure large amounts of data both generated internally as well as from various data vendors.
As a Sr Data Architect, you will:
- Architects and manages a large number of databases across the business line.
- Designs, builds and maintains highly available and redundant database systems.
- Builds, maintains, administers, enhances and supports database platforms including activities such as upgrading, patching and performance tuning.
- Insures accurate and descriptive data dictionaries that can be used internally as well as by customers, regulators and auditors
- Schedules and monitors back-ups, generates reports, and coordinates database changes to ensure the reliability, recoverability and auditability of corporate data.
- Educates users of software product features and their most effective use
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries.
- Keeps data secure by establishing and maintaining security and integrity controls.
- Formulates and monitors policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management.
- Evaluates and develops new tools and technologies to automate routine database operations, analyzes user needs, and presents findings to management.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance and assistance to development teams, as needed, to deliver the right database technology to meet system needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Database Administration, Economics, Finance or a closely related field is minimal requirement for the position and workplace experience will also be required.
- Five years of experience in database administration supporting one or more database platforms.

- Experience analyzing economic data and information.
- Experience working with SQL Server databases including writing production ready SQL and Python code

We’re looking for a VulnerabilityManagement Engineer to join our Information Security Office. Our team is responsible for helping protect SAS by developing and executing innovative security controls, defenses and countermeasures designed to help prevent internal and external attacks. This role is to help detect security vulnerabilities in information systems and drive resolution in compliance with corporate security policy. Summary of Duties: Provide technical expertise on the proprietary risk solution in consort with domain expertise on insurance related Risk & Regulatory Delivery projects. The Food Services team is looking for an Associate Food Service Technician to help perform duties in all aspects of the dish room.
As an Associate Food Service Technician, you will:
- Clean and sanitize tables and chairs in dining room area daily.
- Sweep and mop service area floors daily.
- Remove the trash and recyclables as needed throughout kitchen and taking out to back dumpster.

This is a very diverse role in the sense that the Information Security Office is the primary point of contact for all security related items. You will be involved in both engineering and deploying solutions, as well as performing architectural reviews and risk assessments of both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you will:
- Research latest security best practices, staying abreast of new threats and vulnerabilities and helps disseminate this information to appropriate groups within the organization.
- Coordinate and executes security projects for the organization.
- Respond to security incidents as part of the Incident Response Team.
- Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security, determines causes of security violations, and designs countermeasures.
- Conduct security risk assessments on networks and systems and makes recommendations to management to improve security and avoid negative impact on the business.
- Create and update documentation and train junior-level engineers.
- Utilize analytical and investigative processes to perform threat hunting activities across the organization.
- Analyze existing SIEM correlation rules and make tuning recommendations.
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in an information security field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)

- Experience deploying Azure Defender security tools
- Working knowledge of Azure Policy
- Ability to create detailed architecture diagrams, as well as corresponding documentation

What you’ll do:
In this role, you will work as a Software Developer within our JMP division. You will work on the back end of JMP Live, JMP’s web-based collaboration and data visualization product. You’ll work with a small group of experienced developers in a casual atmosphere, while enjoying the benefits of working within one of America’s most admired companies.
We are using modern technologies to create JMP Live, so you will use your skills with C++, Node.js, JavaScript, PostgreSQL (or similar) database and other open-source software to help us make JMP Live even more valuable to our customers.

As a Software Developer within JMP, the premier product for statistical discovery, you will use modern technologies to expand our capability to create web-based statistical graphics with JMP's signature interactivity. What you’ll do:
This role will focus on selling to the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced sales professional with a high EQ and intellectual curiosity. Our customers are scientists and engineers, so you must be comfortable in technical conversations. For the right style of candidate, this is genuinely a fantastic sales role, as part of a dedicated 3-person team in an extremely well-resourced sales and marketing organization.
You will:
- Spread the use and impact of JMP products within existing and target accounts
- Develop and grow the existing customer base, while simultaneously prospecting into a list of target named accounts.
- Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction; conducting significant direct contact with accounts and travel to account sites (where appropriate).
- Coordinate with the Systems Engineer and IS rep on demos and technical support for accounts.
- Contribute to the fantastic (and famous) culture and work atmosphere of JMP and SAS.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of successful experience in sales of computer software, including experience demonstrating technical solutions.
- Experience selling to government agencies.
- Experience in account development, and relationship development inside complex organizations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team comprised of a Systems Engineer and Inside Sales Representative
