As a Sr. Systems Engineer, you will provide technical assistance for software pre-sales activities within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Departments of Homeland Security and Justice of the Federal Government vertical. You will creatively apply business analytics applications to help solve business problems and communicate these approaches to different business audiences throughout the national security space.       You will also prepare prototype solutions and presentations based on opportunity analysis; develop and present customized demonstrations for accounts; work with sales staff to outline available products and leverage sales opportunities; plan and implement in conjunction with the Account Executive; and perform other duties as assigned.     You will need to have a demonstrated ability to detect and understand the customer's business needs; articulate the value of our solutions and offerings; and identify appropriate applications, tools, and solutions.    Location: Preference for candidates in the DC area. Our Finance division is looking for a new team member to manage the administration of the supplier registration process for new supplier requests and maintain existing supplier records in the vendor master data file. You will provide review of submitted internal supplier registrations from buyers as well as from key personnel in other countries as part of the North American Shared Services team, ensuring that supplier setups are in accordance with stated Corporate and company specific requirements.  In addition, you will be responsible for the submission of multiple payment batches for US and Canadian payment processing. Lastly you will be the administrator for a limited number of suppliers who will interact with the supplier portal.   You will: - Audit, administer, and process payment batches as part of a Shared Services Payables team. - Communicate with bank on payment issues. - Research, set up and maintain accurate transactional and vendor-based data. - Maintain accurate accounting records and compiles reports, as needed. - Communicate with vendors, internal and external customers concerning invoices and payments. - Perform data entry of vendor and payment information with a high level of accuracy. - Perform internal and external reporting as required. - Work with other departments or employees, ensuring finance guidelines are followed. - Knowledge of IRS rules and regulations for 1099s and issuance of 1099s. - EDD reporting for State of CA. - Administer the internal supplier registration process. - Assist in the training of and acts as a resource for other staff.
