Software Developer, Engineering Productivity
Summary
Works directly with all the development teams within the SAS Retail Division with the goal of helping to design quality into the resulting products during the development process. This involves participating in design creation and working with the teams to insuring the efficiency of their development work. This also involves working directly with the testing team to ensure that the test cases and processes are efficient and proper.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with senior developers, architects, and managers to design software in accordance with SAS R&D standards and consistent with the market goals for Retail Division products.
- Participate in project scoping and scheduling.
- Work with the development staff to design quality into their development efforts, writing code with them when necessary.
- Work with both development and testing teams, providing thorough reviews of their joint test plans, communicates when updates to the plan should be made to cover code changes related to enhancements, redesigns and/or bug fixes.
- Work with the testing teams to help them build appropriate test cases and helps to automate those test cases. Be able to provide summaries on the overall testing and quality efforts.
- Since the bulk of the development and testing teams for the Retail Division are located in Pune India, this position would work directly with them to insure they have the proper information.
- If needed, assist SAS Technical Support and Professional Services team with customer issues
- Actively involves other project stakeholders (e.g. managers, developers, user interface and visual designers, product managers) to ensure implementation satisfies functional requirements and is consistent with established R&D standards.

These products are based on a combination of Java-based mid-tiers and services, SAS and Viya analytics, REST APIs, and HTML5 UIs. This position would focus primarily on mid-tier development as well as some C and C++ development supporting the SAS and Viya analytics layers.

Summary
Designs, and implements architectural approaches for software applications through consideration of business/market requirements, system quality attributes, and overall technical direction. Provides development support for existing and new products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary development architect for a series of products collectively known as Retail Pricing, which is a subset of a larger set of products that SAS supports targeting the retail industry.
- Work with the senior management and other lead architects of the Retail Division to develop and help implement proper architecture.
- Communicates architecture designs and acts as a resource for understanding and explaining overall R&D architecture. This includes communicating to development team members located in India.

The Account Executive – Hospitality, Sports and Gaming will be responsible for sales of SAS software products, solutions and services in a high volume, multi-tasking environment to prospective and current accounts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sells software, solutions and services to current and prospective customers; works with other sales/pre-sales/domain/personnel to position and leverage sales opportunities to acquire, grow and retain customers within assigned territory.

- Hospitality and gaming industry experience is not required but heavily desired.

SAS offers several camp programs throughout the year to employees’ children ages 6 - 12. We are currently seeking applicants for the 2019 summer camp.
Timeline Details
- Applications Open through March 2019. Interviews will take place March-April.
- Staff training will be the week of June 3.
- Summer Day Camp 2019: June 10- August 16.
- Each staff member will have a 30-40 hour work week; with hours from 7:00 am- 3:00 pm, 8:30AM – 4:30PM OR 9:30 am-5:30 pm (this will be dependent upon your role).
Details about the Opportunities
The Summer Day Camp requires a team of individuals to provide an unforgettable experience to our campers. We have three different roles available this summer:
Counselors
- Primary caregivers for each camper. The Counselor is responsible for planning, teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. Counselors will need to be available to work 9 out of the 10 weeks.
- Direct and supervise campers in their camper group within activities and throughout the camp in order to meet the intended camper outcomes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of program activities for campers within the mission. To include in areas such as the pool, nature, all camp activities, and arts and crafts as directed.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff.
- Provide parents appropriate feedback and information as needed for their campers to have a successful camp experience.
Junior Counselors
- Assist our Counselors in the caregiving of campers. They will be a part of carrying out activities and guiding campers on a daily basis.
- Junior Counselors will be placed on a rotating schedule throughout the summer: where they will work two weeks on, and one week off (total of 6 working weeks).
- Provide support to the overall operations of the summer camp where needed; to also include assisting in the set up and break down of camp.
On- Call Counselor
- Hours for this role will vary based on need. On call counselors may be called to work for one week, or a single day.
Minimum Qualifications of All Summer Camp Positions
- Currently enrolled in school .
- Ability to be on feet for at least 8 hours a day
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to be outdoors for at least 5 hours per day
- Ability to walk, stand, kneel, stoop and manual dexterity
- Ability to observe camper behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures, and apply appropriate behavior-management techniques.
- Physical ability to respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid. Must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, evacuation, illness, or injury) and possess strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers.
- Willing to work in a camp setting and irregular hours with daily exposure to the sun and heat and other environmental conditions.

Our Learning Design and Development team in Education is looking for a Course Development Project Manager. We are looking for someone who can be a “jack of all trades”! In this position you will primarily manage a heavy load of course development projects in a fast-paced environment of Training and Development.
