Our curiosity fuels innovation, pushing boundaries, challenging the status quo and changing the way we live.    What you’ll do: We’re looking for a Sr Aircraft Maintenance Technician to ensures company aircraft are kept in a safe and airworthy condition by servicing engines, engine components, airframe components and avionics in full compliance with company, FAA regulatory, and manufacturer established procedures and guidelines.   You will: - Perform scheduled and routine maintenance and ground servicing on company aircraft according to manufacturer and FAA guidelines. - Maintain aircraft maintenance records in accordance with company, manufacturer, and FAA requirements. - Maintain compliance with company operating policies, procedures, maintenance manuals and FAA regulations regarding aircraft. - Conduct pre and post flight inspections to determine if aircraft is in an airworthy condition and ready for flight. - Analyze aircraft maintenance discrepancy write ups and then troubleshoots and performs diagnostics to aircraft power plant and electronic systems to determine necessary corrective actions. - Modify and replaces tires, wiring, instruments and other parts as necessary. - Order needed aircraft components and documents and submits aircraft component warranty claims as necessary. - Act as a technical expert on a specific aircraft type and maintains awareness of any aircraft manufacturer program or regulatory developments, current or future that will or could impact that specific aircraft maintenance program. - Assist Manager, Aviation Maintenance with projects as assigned. - Assume duties as assigned in the absence of the Manager, Aviation Maintenance.   What we’re looking for: - Aviation or related degree preferred. Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license. - Typically requires eight years as a licensed Airframe and Powerplant mechanic on jet aircraft.  - Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the requirements stated above. - Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays - U.S. Only: Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a good driving record and hold and maintain a valid/current US Passport - Must be able to obtain an airport ID. - Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
