About the job The Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division is looking for a Product Manager for our SaaS and Private Cloud Offerings in the SAS Cloud portfolio with a focus on features required by government standards, rulings, and compliance programs, including FedRAMP, NIST, Schrems II and IRAP. You will join a group of dynamic and motivated professionals to develop and communicate the SAS Cloud roadmap, specific to Government customers.   As a Senior SAS Cloud Product Manager, you will: - Act as subject matter expert on standards set by government agencies for cloud products and services, such as FedRAMP, NIST, Schrems II and IRAP. - Interpret and translate those government standards into an action plan for SAS to meet requirements around security and risk assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring. - Partner with third parties to assess our current eco-system and prioritize findings for remediation. - Develop, drive and communicate a roadmap to internal and external audiences. - Partner with CIS, R&D and other Divisions to identify new joint initiatives to close gaps and determine how they fit into existing roadmaps and priorities. - Support rollout initiatives of new features specific to a government compliant environment. - Act as a Government compliance champion across the organization by creating partnerships with leaders in R&D, Sales, and other organizations. Evangelize benefits and opportunities by attending leadership team meetings, speaking at town halls and other events inside and outside CIS to build understanding and excitement about operating in government-regulated markets.   Required qualifications - US Citizenship required - Overall 8+ years of experience, including Product Management experience in the software industry. - Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in International Business, Computer Science, or related discipline.  - Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the requirements above. - Experience on at least one of the following - FedRAMP Compliance Program, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Schrems II Data Privacy Ruling or IRAP Program. - Experience in one or more of the following: SaaS, cloud infrastructure, security, software development, and operations. - Prior product strategy experience, including linking features to customer value, building a business case for investment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive innovation. - Proven ability to build relationships effectively at the Director, VP and C-level.   Preferred qualifications - Visual thinker who can present complex topics in a simple format for conversation. - Problem-solver who asks the right questions to get the best solution. - Influencer who is collaborative, transparent, and genuine. - High performing contributor who performs well under pressure and produces quality results - Change agent that drives transformation within the business.   World-class benefits   Highlights include... - Comprehensive medical, prescription, dental and vision plans with a low annual deductible and copays. - Onsite Health Care Center (HQ) that’s free to employees and covered family members. - Onsite pharmacy (HQ) where a 30-day supply of any generic drug costs $5 or less.
